The GSR Revolution Target pairs a stainless slide and frame in a uniform matte finish with a Government-length 5 inch barrel using a standard bushing and short guide rod. The non-railed frame keeps the classic 1911 profile while delivering the weight and balance shooters expect from a full-size .45 ACP.
Its target-focused sighting system includes a fully adjustable square-notch rear with two white dots and a dovetailed front blade with a white dot, creating a clear 3-dot picture. A sight radius of about 6.5 inches supports precise adjustment and consistent alignment.
Controls and features are true to a tuned 1911: single-action only operation with thumb safety and grip safety, a solid aluminum trigger with overtravel screw, and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. Checkered wood grips with the SIG SAUER logo, a checkered front strap, and a flat, checkered mainspring housing provide secure purchase.
The slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation, and it includes a lowered/eased ejection port and internal extractor. Dimensions are approximately 8.7 inches long, 5.5 inches high, and 1.4 inches wide, with a weight of about 41.6 ounces with magazine and a capacity of 8+1 rounds.
Made in the USA and marked SIGARMS Exeter, NH, this example reflects early GSR/Revolution production, further indicated by the GS-prefix serial. It delivers the robustness of a stainless build with the refinement of an adjustable target sight setup.
