What’s Included
- Thompson/Center Hawken .50 caliber percussion rifle
The rifle uses a single-shot percussion caplock action with an external hammer and double-set triggers, delivering the traditional operation expected from a Hawken-style muzzleloader. The case-colored lockplate adds visual contrast to the blued barrel and tang and complements the period-inspired engraving.
The 28-inch octagonal blued steel barrel is marked "THOMPSON/CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE CAL .50" on the top flat. Sighting is handled by an adjustable open rear sight paired with a dovetailed blade front sight for a traditional sight picture.
The walnut half-stock includes a left-side cheekpiece and is retained by a single wedge with brass escutcheons. Brass furniture consists of the patchbox, buttplate, trigger guard, and nose cap. An under-rib with three brass ramrod thimbles is fitted beneath the barrel.
This is a factory-engraved reproduction with scroll engraving on the lockplate and hammer, made in the United States at Thompson/Center’s Rochester, New Hampshire facility. The serial number is located on the top barrel flat.
The rifle has a 14.5-inch length of pull and a one-round capacity, consistent with its muzzleloading design and traditional Hawken configuration.
