The CZ Shadow 2 Compact brings the Shadow 2 series into a lighter, shorter package with a 4.0 in barrel, 7075 aluminum frame, and optics-ready slide. This example is a 2023 production import with matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel, and it includes the CZ-SH2 UM4 plate for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint installed. Two 15-round steel magazines, fiber-optic front and steel rear sights, and a factory case round out a ready-to-enjoy setup.

The Shadow 2 Compact retains the series’ DA/SA, short-recoil tilting-barrel system and short-reset trigger in a compact form factor. It measures approximately 7.5 in in overall length, about 1.4 in in width, and roughly 5.4 in in height, with a weight of about 30 oz and a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Its 7075 aluminum alloy frame includes a frame-integral M1913/Picatinny accessory rail and textured silver alloy grip panels marked with the CZ Shadow 2 logos. Controls feature ambidextrous low-profile manual safeties with a left-side slide stop and a skeletonized hammer.
The optics-ready slide uses the Shadow 2 OR plate pattern. The included CZ-SH2 UM4 plate is marked for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint and is installed, making it straightforward to mount a compatible optic. Front and rear cocking serrations and a long anti-glare rib assist in manipulations and sight tracking.
Sights are a red fiber-optic front paired with a checkered steel rear. Markings include MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC, CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark, and a triangle date code "23," indicating 2023 production. This pistol corresponds to CZ part number 91252.
