Built on the DPMS/LR-308 (SR-25 pattern) .308 AR platform and chambered in .308 Win, the DR-10 uses a direct-impingement action with a low-profile set-screw gas block under a free-float handguard. The 16 inch stainless barrel is marked "308 WIN 1/10 SS," uses a 1:10 twist, and is threaded 5/8x24.
The rifle wears a Midwest Industries free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous Picatinny top rail that bridges the receiver and handguard. This layout provides solid mounting real estate along the entire top line, with T-markings present on the handguard section and M-LOK slots along the handguard for accessories.
At the muzzle, a SureFire SOCOM SFMB-762-5/8-24 brake is installed, and this rifle includes a SureFire Warden blast regulator mounted over the brake. The SFMB features the SOCOM interface with NSN ring and is cut for the 7.62 bore and standard 5/8x24 thread pattern.
