This Sears J.C. Higgins Model 101.7, cross-referenced to the Stevens 311A, is a U.S.-made boxlock side-by-side in 20 gauge with extractor operation and solid mechanics. It features 28 inch selected forged steel barrels with a matted solid rib, fixed chokes, and a single front bead, plus a manual tang safety and double triggers. A Pachmayr White Line recoil pad has been installed, and the receiver carries the correct J.C. Higgins and 311A markings.

The 28 inch barrels are marked "SELECTED FORGED STEEL" and carry a matted solid rib for reduced glare. Chambers are 2 3/4 inch as marked, and the barrels are fitted with fixed chokes and a single front bead sight.
Controls and operation are straightforward, with a break-action design, manual tang safety, and dual triggers. Capacity is two rounds, and the extractors lift shells reliably on opening.
