It is a striker-fired, single-action, blowback-operated rimfire pistol with a 16+1 capacity. The PTS trigger system provides a consistent single-action pull. Controls include a left-side magazine release and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, complemented by a striker/firing-pin block and a trigger safety.
Sighting is straightforward and adjustable: the rear notch offers windage and elevation adjustments, while the front sight has been upgraded to a green fiber-optic blade in place of the factory white dot. An integral Picatinny-style accessory rail with two slots is molded into the dustcover for mounting compatible accessories.
