The Tavor SAR uses a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt in a compact bullpup layout. This example is set up with right-hand ejection, a left-side forward charging handle, and an ambidextrous manual safety. Length of pull measures 15.25 inches.
The 16.5-inch steel barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined, with CHF/CL and 1:7 markings. It is threaded and fitted with a standard A2-style birdcage flash hider with five longitudinal slots around the upper 180° (closed bottom), pairing durability with standard muzzle device compatibility.
The Flat Dark Earth polymer receiver and fore-end feature a fore-end vent slot array and a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail with index numbers. Short accessory rail sections are integrated on the fore-end for mounting additional equipment as needed.
Feeding is via AR-pattern magazines, and this rifle includes three Magpul PMAGs to get started. The installed PODIUM grip-mounted deployable bipod adds instant stability without adding bulk to the fore-end.
Markings include IWI US – Harrisburg, PA, Made in Israel, and receiver marking TAVOR SAR. Barrel markings denote CHF/CL and 1:7 twist.
