The B-14 HMR action follows the Remington 700 footprint and uses a two-lug, push-feed bolt with a sliding-plate extractor, plunger ejector, and a coned bolt nose. An oversized, knurled bolt knob and a two-position safety provide positive manipulation. The metalwork wears a matte black finish.
The 22-inch barrel is 4140 chrome-moly steel in a No. 6 heavy contour, free-floated for consistency. It is threaded 5/8x24 and includes a thread protector, with a 1:8 RH twist suited to common 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights.
The HMR stock is a molded synthetic design in tan with black splatter, built around an internal aluminum mini-chassis for rigidity. It features an adjustable cheekpiece, spacer-adjustable length of pull (14.5 inches), textured grip and forend panels, and sling studs.
Scope bases and 30mm rings are installed to speed mounting. The rifle uses a detachable-box-magazine well; please note the magazine is not included.
As part of the B-14 series, this model carries a factory sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.
