Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin EMP 3" 9 mm – Two-Tone Micro 1911 with Match Bull Barrel
The 1911 Ronin EMP 3" blends Springfield Armory’s patented Enhanced Micro Pistol architecture with the classic 1911 platform. Forged construction, a match-grade bull barrel, and a trim 6.6-inch overall length give this micro 9 mm solid concealability without giving up the crisp single-action trigger 1911 fans expect.

Springfield’s EMP system shortens the 1911 frame and slide around the 9 mm cartridge, yielding 11 proprietary parts that reduce bulk and enhance reliability. A dual captive recoil spring is tuned specifically for the 3-inch barrel, keeping the slide velocity in check while softening felt recoil.
The match-grade, bushing-less bull barrel is cut from stainless steel with a fully supported ramp and 1:16-inch left-hand twist for consistent lock-up and accuracy. Because the barrel mates directly to the slide without a separate bushing, the muzzle fit remains tight even after extended shooting.
A two-tone finish sets off the forged components: the blued carbon-steel slide carries rear cocking serrations, while the forged aluminum-alloy frame wears a satin-silver Cerakote. Hardwood double-diamond grips with Springfield medallions provide a traditional look and secure purchase.
Controls follow the Series-70 pattern with no firing-pin safety, and include an extended thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. The skeletonized aluminum trigger features a three-hole design, while the skeletonized rowel hammer speeds lock time.
Bright sights round out the package: a red fiber-optic front blade pairs with a serrated two-dot Tactical Rack rear sight that facilitates one-hand slide manipulation.
