It features 26-inch monobloc barrels with a ventilated, matted rib, a coin-finished receiver with factory scroll engraving, and traditional checkered walnut furniture. It is configured with a single trigger and a tang-mounted sliding safety, and it retains clear Italian maker and import markings.

The BL-3 series pairs Beretta’s Italian craftsmanship with U.S. import history. Markings include "P. Beretta - Gardone V.T. - ITALY" with the PB logo and "BERBEN CORPORATION N.Y.

The 26-inch barrels use a monobloc construction and carry a ventilated, matted rib with a single front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches, and the break-action over/under layout provides a 2-round capacity.
The receiver wears a coin finish and factory engraving, with scrollwork and large rosettes around the hinge pins. These features present the BL-3’s period styling and Beretta’s decorative metalwork.
The walnut stock has a pistol grip and checkering, matched with a semi-beavertail forend featuring wraparound checkering. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. A replacement hard buttplate marked "SKB" is installed.
Controls are straightforward, with a tang-mounted sliding safety and a single trigger. Sights consist of a simple front bead for a clean, traditional sight picture.
