    What’s Included

    • Marlin Model 39 Standard Rifle chambered in .22 S/L/LR (1923)

The rifle uses a forged steel receiver and a forged steel, full-length octagon barrel measuring 24 inches. It is a takedown configuration, using a coin-slotted side screw for easy separation of barrel/forend and receiver assemblies. The full-length under-barrel tubular magazine utilizes a removable inner tube and provides a stated capacity of 18+1 rounds.

Traditional iron sight provisions include a front sight dovetail and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with an elevator. The rifle retains its era-appropriate markings: the barrel address reads "The Marlin Firearms Corporation. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. – PATENTED –" and the caliber is marked "22 S-L & L-R" with arrow flourishes.

    No cross-bolt safety is present.

Stock furniture consists of a walnut pistol-grip buttstock with a straight comb and a plain walnut forearm capped by a steel nosecap. The rifle is a full-size configuration with a 13.5-inch length of pull, offering classic proportions and balance consistent with the Model 39 Standard Rifle of the 1920s.

Additional features include two exposed threaded holes on the right receiver wall. This early-production configuration aligns with the Model 39 lineage known for its .22 S/L/LR versatility and takedown design made in the United States.
