Built at CN Romarm SA/Cugir in Romania, this GP WASR-10/63 uses a stamped sheet-steel AKM-pattern receiver and a standard ribbed top cover. It follows the WASR configuration with internal spacer plates and no magwell dimples. The receiver wears a matte black finish and is marked with the CAI Georgia, VT import stamp alongside the Romanian factory mark.
The 16.25-inch barrel is chrome-lined and threaded at the muzzle with a detent. No muzzle device is installed, giving the buyer flexibility to add a compatible device. The rifle uses a 90-degree AKM gas block with a separate gas tube and the proven semi-automatic, gas-operated long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt.
Furniture is classic wood with a straight-comb fixed buttstock, a steel buttplate with trapdoor, and wood lower handguard featuring two vent slots along with a solid wood upper (gas-tube) handguard. A rear sling swivel is installed. The pistol grip is black polymer, and the length of pull measures 13.0 inches. A standard AKM cleaning rod is installed beneath the barrel, retained at the front sight base.
Sighting is through iron sights with a post front sight and a tangent rear sight. There is no optic side rail on the left side of the receiver. The rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 and includes one 30-round steel ribbed magazine. The trunnion shows a 1987 year-prefix, adding useful context on the component’s origin within this WASR series.
