The Premier script on the receiver identifies this shotgun as the Premier grade, paired with a field-appropriate 26-inch ventilated-rib barrel and a front bead sight. The combination provides a clean sighting plane and quick alignment on target.
Remington's gas-operated, pressure-compensating 11-87 system is designed to cycle a range of 12-gauge loads. The chamber accepts both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, and the tubular magazine provides a 3+1 capacity. A right-side ejection port and knurled magazine cap round out the operating features.
The shotgun is stocked in gloss-finished walnut with cut checkering. It includes a pistol-grip buttstock with a black grip cap featuring a gold monogram inlay, plus a Remington-logo recoil pad with black spacer. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The barrel and the top and bottom of the receiver are blued, while the receiver side panels are bright silver bearing the Premier script.
The barrel is threaded for screw-in chokes, with a flush-profile Modified choke installed. Barrel stamps include "AU 65" and "BL 3 M"; per Remington date-code tables, "AU" corresponds to March of a "U" year and dates the barrel only. Made in the United States.
