The MDT LSS-XL aluminum chassis provides a rigid foundation with adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull, a skeletonized stock section, and an MDT grip. The forend includes M-LOK slots and a sling/bipod stud, and the chassis is compatible with AR-pattern grips. The FDE Cerakote finish on the chassis adds a durable, low-glare surface.
The 24-inch carbon steel barrel is heavy contour, fluted, and threaded 5/8x24 with a three-port muzzle brake installed. Its 1:8 5R twist is set up for 6.5 Creedmoor performance. The receiver is carbon steel with a matte finish, and the action includes an oversized round bolt knob for confident manipulation.
Savage’s AccuTrigger is user-adjustable with a nominal 1.5–4 lb range, allowing a crisp and tailored pull. A one-piece 20-MOA Picatinny scope rail is installed for secure mounting. The rifle uses an AICS-pattern detachable magazine system for reliable feeding.
