Specific Condition Notes: The rifle is completely disassembled. It will need to be assembled by a qualified gunsmith. It is sold as-is as a parts kit. Minor surface pitting is visible on some parts.

The R1A1 Sporter follows the FN FAL pattern with a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system and tilting bolt. It is a full-size 7.62x51 NATO platform and is provided here as a disassembled parts kit.
This kit combines mixed inch/metric features: a finger-grooved metal barrel carry handle and metric-style polymer handguards featuring three elongated vents per side. The interface accepts detachable box magazines with a stated 20+1 capacity, and four 20-round steel magazines are included.
The barrel is 18 inches with a threaded muzzle, and a three-prong flash hider is included but uninstalled. The gas system components are present, including the gas block, an "A"-marked gas plug, a gas regulator ring, and the long gas piston/operating rod.
The included return system parts are the standard FAL rat-tail carrier rod with twin recoil/return springs. A para-style tubular side-folding buttstock assembly is included; however, para-specific recoil components (para bolt carrier without rat-tail and para top cover with captive recoil springs) are not included, so it cannot be assembled into a functional para configuration without additional parts.
A Picatinny-railed top cover is included for mounting optics. The receiver is steel with a black phosphate/painted finish, consistent with the FAL-pattern aesthetic and durability expectations.
