The Commander-length build pairs a 4.25 in match-grade, bushing-fitted stainless barrel with a flush crown for precise lockup. The slide wears a black Cerakote finish over melonite treatment and includes top serrations, milled relief panels, and a lowered/flared ejection port to aid reliability and handling.
The aluminum frame and matching aluminum grip module keep weight down while maintaining the familiar 1911 single-action operating system. Frag pattern texturing covers the grip panels, front strap, and mainspring housing for secure purchase, and a beveled/flared magazine well speeds reloads. The dust cover is smooth with no accessory rail.
Sighting equipment consists of tritium night sights: a tritium front blade and a Trijicon tritium square-notch rear. The fire controls include a manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, complemented by a skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
This pistol uses a double-stack 2011-type magazine system for a 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. Make marking "GUNCRAFTER INDUSTRIES HUNTSVILLE, AR, USA" is located on the underside of the dust cover. Origin is the United States, and the included factory documentation notes a test-fire on March 24, 2020 with final inspection by Alex W. Zimmermann.
