What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson M&P 40c pistol
- Three 10-round compact steel magazines with finger-rest baseplates
This M&P 40c pairs a stainless steel slide and barrel with a Melonite finish for corrosion resistance and a uniform black appearance. The compact size balances concealability and control, with an overall length of about 6.7 inches and an unloaded weight of approximately 21.7 ounces.
Controls and safety features include ambidextrous slide stop levers, a hinged two-piece trigger with a safety lever, an internal striker block, and the sear-deactivation lever that allows takedown without pulling the trigger. The pistol is marked as capable of firing with the magazine removed, indicating no magazine disconnect.
Sighting is via dovetailed 3-dot sights with a white-dot front and a low-profile steel rear. The slide uses rear-only scalloped serrations for traction, and the barrel hood provides a witness/view port to check chamber status at a glance.
The polymer frame incorporates a palm-swell backstrap and a short accessory rail on the dust cover with one cross slot. Capacity is 10+1 in .40 S&W, and this pistol comes with three 10-round magazines as noted.
