What’s Included
- Kwik-Site 1-inch scope rings (installed)
- Receiver scope bases (installed)
- Hammer spur extension (installed)
The 336CS action is the classic Marlin side-eject design with a solid-top steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optics. Receiver scope bases are already installed, and Kwik-Site 1-inch rings are mounted. 1 Inch scope rings come installed, streamlining setup if you choose to add an optic.
Chambered in .35 Rem, the 20 inch barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling, known for its many shallow lands. This configuration pairs well with the cartridge, offering efficient performance from a compact, handy hunting rifle.
The rifle carries a full-length magazine tube with a stated 6+1 capacity and has a single rear barrel band; at the muzzle, the magazine tube is retained by a hanger/end-cap with a screw rather than a front wraparound barrel band. It features a round bolt and a cross-bolt safety. Sights include a ramped front with a dovetailed blade and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator adjustment; the front sight hood is not present in photos.
The hardwood pistol-grip stock includes a white-line spacer, hard buttplate, and sling swivel studs for carry. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches, and the overall blued finish complements the steel receiver for a traditional Marlin look.
