This R-25 is built on the AR-10 platform and chambered in .308 Win, pairing a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action with Remington’s 20 in stainless steel barrel. The barrel is button-rifled, fluted, and free-floated, with a 1:10 twist and a recessed crown, providing a strong foundation for consistent performance with a wide range of .308 bullet weights.
The upper receiver retains an ejection-port dust cover. A flat-top Picatinny receiver rail and a Picatinny segment on the tall railed gas block offer straightforward mounting options. No iron sights are installed from the factory.
The rifle features a vented, free-float aluminum handguard with a front sling-swivel stud at 6 o’clock. The stock setup includes a fixed A2-style synthetic buttstock and an A2-pattern pistol grip. The receiver is aluminum with a matte gray finish for a clean, uniform look.
Capacity is 20+1 with compatibility for SR-25/DPMS LR-308 pattern magazines. One 20-round steel magazine is included. This rifle was made in the USA.
