The DISSENT platform places the recoil system in the upper receiver, eliminating the traditional buffer tube. This Bufferless Compact Action pairs with the Br4 billet lower, which accepts Remington 870 pattern stocks and uses a cross-bolt, reversible safety. The stock is fixed polymer, with length of pull adjusted via included spacers.
The rifle runs a direct-impingement system with a mid-length gas setup and an adjustable 0.750 inch gas block for tuning. A forward, non-reciprocating side charger that can be reversed supports different user preferences without adding motion near the face.
Its 16.1 inch 4140CM steel barrel features a nitride finish, MT contour, and a recessed crown, and it is non-threaded. The 1:7 twist supports 5.56mm NATO projectiles across common weight ranges. A proprietary 13.5 inch free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard includes a full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail.
Construction centers on 7075‑T6 receivers with a Cerakote finish. The upper is DISSENT 7075‑T6, while the Br4 lower is billet 7075‑T6 with an integral swept rifle-style wrist in place of a separate AR-pattern pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1.
