What’s Included
- Eibar .38 Special double-action/single-action revolver with 5 in barrel
Made in Spain, this Eibar-built revolver follows the S&W Hand Ejector pattern and is marked EIBAR 1924, placing it squarely in the 1920s era. The MADE IN SPAIN export stamp and additional Spanish proofs underscore its origin and intended export market.
It uses a traditional DA/SA mechanism with a swing-out six-shot steel cylinder. The front-of-frame push-button cylinder release on the left side mirrors period practice. An unshrouded full-length ejector rod with a rod-actuated star extractor supports straightforward unloading.
The revolver is configured with fixed sights: a half-moon front blade and a milled rear groove. Two-piece checkered wooden grip panels with diamond escutcheons complement the steel frame, cylinder, and receiver.
Proofs and inspection stamps include a boxed X proof, a small two-letter stamp at the barrel/frame juncture on the left side, and tiny symbols on the barrel shank. Together with the MADE IN SPAIN and EIBAR 1924 markings, these details document Spanish manufacture and period-correct features of this 1920s example.
