The Shadow 2 Compact uses a DA/SA, short-recoil, locked-breech system with a curved, polished trigger and a skeletonized hammer. The slide has front and rear cocking serrations, an extended slide stop, and an extended beavertail for confident manipulation and control.
The forged 7075 aluminum-alloy frame includes checkered frontstrap and backstrap and a flared magazine-well opening to streamline reloads. A reversible magazine release and ambidextrous manual thumb safety accommodate varied shooter preferences.
Sighting is fast and precise with a fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear. An integral three-slot 1913/Picatinny accessory rail supports compatible accessories as needed.
Compact dimensions of approximately 7.5 in L × 1.4 in W × 5.4 in H and an unloaded weight around 30.6–30.7 oz (with empty magazine) balance carry and shootability. Capacity is 15+1, and this pistol includes two steel double-stack magazines with witness holes.
Origin is the Czech Republic, with Czech CIP proof marks and a CZ-USA importer mark (Hartford, CT). The model launched in August 2023 and this example shows matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame.
