This Bushmaster XM15-E2S is a 2011–2014-era AR-15 pattern rifle with a 14.5 in M4-profile barrel that is pinned and welded to reach approximately 17 in overall barrel length. It features forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, a fixed carry-handle upper with carry-handle rear sight, and classic carbine furniture. A TAPCO carry-handle optic rail is installed, and the lower carries the Bushmaster snake logo with B.F.I. Ilion, N.Y. markings.
The barrel is 14.5" pinned and welded to a total overall of 17".

The heart of this XM15-E2S is its M4-profile 14.5 in barrel with a pinned and welded multi-slot flash hider, bringing the total barrel length to roughly 17 in. The barrel is stamped "B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9," indicating Bushmaster Magnetic Particle inspection and a 1:9 twist suitable for common 5.56 NATO loads. It retains the classic fixed A-frame front sight base with an integrated bayonet lug.
The upper receiver is the fixed carry-handle style with an adjustable carry-handle rear sight. It includes a forward assist, ejection port cover, and case deflector in the A2 pattern. A TAPCO carry-handle rail is installed and marked "TAPCO U.S.A." and "CAGE 3E207."
The receiver set is forged 7075-T6 aluminum. The lower is marked with the Bushmaster snake logo, model XM15-E2S, and "B.F.I. ILION, N.Y., U.S.A." Furniture includes carbine-length ribbed polymer handguards, a Bushmaster-marked 6-position collapsible stock with an approximate 10.5–14 in length of pull, and an A2-style polymer pistol grip. A manual safety is standard.
This rifle uses the STANAG magazine interface and is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a listed capacity of 30+1. The action is semi-automatic, direct impingement. It was manufactured in the United States during the 2011–2014 period.
