The APX A1 Full Size features a 4.25 in steel barrel and a black-finished slide with diagonal serrations. The slide is optics-ready and ships with a removable two-screw cover plate. Steel, dovetailed sights include a white-dot front blade and a black serrated rear notch for a clear sight picture.
Controls are designed for versatility, with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine catch. The polymer frame uses aggressive texturing and interchangeable backstraps without finger grooves, allowing the grip to be tailored to the shooter. An integral three-slot Picatinny rail supports weapon-mounted accessories.
The serialized stainless-steel internal chassis enables modular grip frame swaps while maintaining the legal receiver. The striker-fired action uses a bladed trigger safety, firing pin block, out-of-battery safety, and a striker deactivation button. The locked-breech system is cam-operated and built for reliable cycling with 9mm Luger.
