The Classic Custom is a Government-length 5 inch 1911 built entirely from stainless steel with a matte stainless finish. It uses a traditional bushing-fit barrel and an internal extractor, paired with a standard (short) guide rod and a checkered recoil spring plug.
Controls are set up for confident manipulation, including a beavertail grip safety and a thumb safety. The long, 3-hole aluminum trigger features an overtravel screw for adjustment, and the skeletonized commander ring hammer delivers a crisp, consistent strike.
Ergonomics and traction are enhanced by fine-line checkering on the front strap and flat mainspring housing, aggressively textured black grip panels with diagonal ridges, and a beveled integral magazine well for efficient reloads.
The slide is configured with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sighting consists of an adjustable target rear and a dovetailed gold-bead front.
