What's Included
- Springfield Armory Model 1911-A1 .45 ACP disassembled restoration/parts kit
This Government-pattern 1911-A1 retains the classic configuration, including a 5-inch barrel length and Government-length dust cover. It is built on a steel frame and slide with a uniform matte silver finish.
Controls and small parts follow GI-style cues: a GI-pattern short, solid trigger; a spur hammer; a textured magazine release; and both a thumb safety and grip safety. The slide uses rear-only angled serrations for charging.
Sighting setup follows traditional GI cues, with a low-profile staked front blade and provision for a fixed, square-notch rear. The frame and slide have no accessory rail, keeping the profile streamlined and period-correct for a Government model layout.
Factory markings include "MODEL 1911-A1" over "CAL. 45" with the Springfield Armory crest on the slide and "SPRINGFIELD INC GENESEO IL USA" on the frame. Made in Brazil by IMBEL and imported by Springfield Armory (Geneseo, IL), this kit is suited for restoration work or sourcing original-style Springfield Armory 1911-A1 parts.
