The 1911 Fastback Carry Nightmare is a .45 ACP, single-stack 1911 configured for carry with a 4.2 in bushing barrel and 8+1 capacity. It uses the classic single-action-only operating system and incorporates a skeletonized trigger and commander-ring hammer.
The Fastback rounded/bobtail grip frame promotes a smoother draw and concealment while maintaining control. It includes a checkered front strap, a bobtail mainspring housing, an undercut trigger guard, and black double-diamond checkered grip panels for a secure, consistent hold.
The slide is a flat-top design with rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sights are fixed, low-profile 3-dot units with dovetailed front and rear. Safety features include a left-side thumb safety and a grip safety. The frame has no accessory rail.
Finished in Nitron black over a stainless steel frame/receiver, the pistol follows the Nightmare theme with natural stainless/silver controls contrasting the slide and frame. Markings include "SIG SAUER 1911" on the slide, "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA" on the frame, and "45 AUTO SIG SAUER" on the barrel hood.
Manufactured in the United States at Sig Sauer’s Newington, NH facility, this example is identified by MFG part number 1911FCA-45-NMR. The factory case label confirms the SKU and is dated 29-Nov-2022; the serial on the frame matches the case label.
