The P model pairs single-action-only operation with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a grip safety for confident control. A lightened, windowed trigger and a skeletonized hammer contribute to a crisp, responsive trigger system. The slide adds front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port.
