Introduced for 2025/2026, the Gen 6 format pairs Glock's Safe Action system with a revised, standard curved Glock trigger with integrated safety tab and full-size 17+1 capacity. Controls include a slide stop and rectangular magazine release for familiar, straightforward handling. The polymer frame uses aggressive dot-style texturing to lock in the grip, and interchangeable backstraps are provided to fine-tune the fit.
The steel 4.49 in Glock Marksman Barrel supports precise shooting, while the slide is factory optic-cut with a cover plate to accept adapter plates included in the package. Tall, plain-black post-and-notch iron sights provide a clear, uncluttered sight picture. Front and rear vertical cocking serrations offer positive traction for press checks and administrative handling.
Austrian manufacture and proofing details are present throughout: Austrian C.I.P. proofs on the barrel, the Glock logo over "AT," and a frame marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA."
