The 5.5 in barrel is threaded and paired with the Maxim Defense HATEBRAKE, a blast-directing muzzle device located under the handguard. This setup prioritizes control and shooter comfort in an ultra-short configuration. The 1:7 twist rate is optimized for a wide range of 5.56×45 loadings.
