SIG Sauer P220 Legion Carry SAO .45 ACP, Limited-Edition Compact, 3.9 in Barrel, X-RAY3 Sights
This limited-edition SIG Sauer P220 Legion Carry SAO is a compact, .45 ACP single-action-only variant finished in Legion gray and equipped with X-RAY3 day/night sights. Announced on September 8, 2020 as the first carry-size .45 ACP Legion model, it features Legion-specific details, premium ergonomics, and comes with three 8-round magazines plus both a factory hard case and a 5.11 Tactical soft case.

The Legion Carry SAO configuration uses a flat-faced, single-action-only trigger with ambidextrous manual safeties and no decocking lever. It is recoil-operated with a locked-breech system and a left-side magazine release. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack steel magazines.
Carry dimensions include a 3.9 in barrel and slide, 7.1 in overall length, 5.5 in height, 1.5 in width, and an unloaded weight of 30.4 oz. The aluminum-alloy frame wears the Legion gray finish and features frontstrap and backstrap checkering with an undercut trigger guard for a higher grip.
The slide has front and rear cocking serrations and Legion engraving on the top. Black textured G10 grips with Legion medallions provide a firm hold and complete the Legion signature look.
SIG’s X-RAY3 day/night tritium 3-dot sights are installed, with a TG-H3-marked tritium front sight and a tritium rear. Sight radius is 5.7 in for clear indexing in varied lighting.
An integral 4-slot accessory rail is machined into the dustcover for light or laser attachment. The pistol is marked SIG SAUER INC., EXETER–NH–USA and corresponds to model and part number 220R3-45-LEGION-SAO. This limited-edition run was introduced in 2020 and is now discontinued.
