The pre-64 controlled-round-feed action uses a large external claw extractor and a hinged floorplate marked "SUPER GRADE," paired with a bright-polished bolt and a 3-position wing safety. The magnum-length internal box magazine holds 3+1 rounds.
The 26-inch steel barrel retains the original .300 H&H Magnum rollmark with an added "WEATHERBY 300 MAGNUM" stamp indicating the rechamber. Factory-style iron sights include a hooded ramp front sight and a barrel-mounted open rear sight.
The Super Grade walnut stock features a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, fine checkering on the grip and fore-end, a contrasting fore-end tip with a white-line spacer, inletted sling-swivel bases, a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer, and an inletted oval Winchester medallion on the stock belly.
The receiver is drilled and tapped and currently fitted with two-piece bases. Metalwork is blued, and the rifle was made in the USA in 1951.
