    What's Included

    • Cimarron factory cardboard box with end label (Model P 5.5" .357 PW, part MP401)
    • A. Uberti S.p.A. Single Action Revolver manual (1873 S.A. Cattleman)
    • Spare one-piece wraparound walnut grip with Cimarron medallions (not installed)

This Model P Pre-War configuration uses the traditional spring-loaded cross-pin base-pin latch, paired with a six-shot fluted cylinder and two-line patent date markings on the left side of the frame. The ejector rod features a period-style button, staying true to the period pattern.

The revolver has a 5.5 inch barrel and fixed sights: a groove rear integral to the topstrap and a fixed front blade with red paint applied for faster visual pickup. The action is single-action only.

Construction is all steel, with a color case-hardened frame and receiver and blued barrel and cylinder. The barrel address reads: "CIMARRON F.A. Co. FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS — MANUFACTURED by A. UBERTI, ITALY." A small circled "23" mark appears above the serial.

    Made in Italy.

Installed are two-piece yellow stag-style synthetic grips. The package also includes a spare one-piece wraparound walnut grip with Cimarron medallions (mortised for the backstrap, no cross screw), giving the buyer an additional factory-style grip option. The box label denotes "MODEL P 5.5" 357 PW" and part number MP401.
