Cimarron Model P Pre-War .357 Magnum, 5.5 inch, SAO, Color Case-Hardened/Blued – Made in Italy
This Cimarron Model P Pre-War is a single-action-only .357 Magnum revolver built by A. Uberti S.p.A. in Italy. It features a 5.5 inch barrel, color case-hardened frame with blued barrel and cylinder, and the classic pre-war frame configuration with a spring-loaded cross-pin base-pin latch. Custom touches include stag-style synthetic grips and red paint applied to the front sight blade.
It comes with the Cimarron factory box, Uberti manual, and spare walnut grip.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor, superficial scratches and small blemishes are present on the exterior surfaces.

This Model P Pre-War configuration uses the traditional spring-loaded cross-pin base-pin latch, paired with a six-shot fluted cylinder and two-line patent date markings on the left side of the frame. The ejector rod features a period-style button, staying true to the period pattern.
The revolver has a 5.5 inch barrel and fixed sights: a groove rear integral to the topstrap and a fixed front blade with red paint applied for faster visual pickup. The action is single-action only.
Construction is all steel, with a color case-hardened frame and receiver and blued barrel and cylinder. The barrel address reads: "CIMARRON F.A. Co. FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS — MANUFACTURED by A. UBERTI, ITALY." A small circled "23" mark appears above the serial.
Made in Italy.
Installed are two-piece yellow stag-style synthetic grips. The package also includes a spare one-piece wraparound walnut grip with Cimarron medallions (mortised for the backstrap, no cross screw), giving the buyer an additional factory-style grip option. The box label denotes "MODEL P 5.5" 357 PW" and part number MP401.
