The Tactical Urban configuration pairs the compact 80X Cheetah platform with a 4.4 inch steel barrel that is threaded 1/2x28, offering compatibility with common .380 ACP muzzle devices. The slide uses Beretta's open-top design and features an optics cut with a two-screw cover plate, plus front and rear serrations. Its Aqua Tech Shield finish provides the distinctive slide color noted on this model.
The Vertec-style aluminum-alloy frame adds an extended beavertail and front/backstrap checkering for a secure hold. An integral accessory rail with three slots is machined into the dust cover; no lanyard loop is present at the rear of the frame. The external skeletonized hammer complements the double-action/single-action trigger system, while safety features include an ambidextrous manual safety and a firing pin block.
Sights are a 3-dot set with a dovetailed steel front blade and a rear sight mounted on the optics-cut slide. Capacity is 13+1 with the included steel double-stack magazines. The magazines have numbered witness holes to 13 and extended baseplates.
Origin and markings are clear: the slide is marked "BERETTA - GARDONE V.T. - MADE IN ITALY" and "80X CHEETAH," the barrel "PB - CAL 9 Short," and the frame "FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE." CIP proof marks appear on the right side of the frame, and the importer mark reads "BERETTA USA CORP., ACCOKEEK, MD." This example is made in Italy.
