This FNX-45 Tactical is a full-size .45 ACP pistol finished in Flat Dark Earth and built in the USA. It features an extended, cold hammer forged, threaded stainless barrel, suppressor-height 3-dot night sights, and a factory optics-mounting interface with cover plate. Fully ambidextrous controls and a 15+1 capacity highlight its practical design. It comes with three 15-round factory magazines, optics mounting plates, interchangeable backstraps, and the FN soft case.

The FNX-45 Tactical pairs a stainless-steel slide in FDE with an FDE polymer frame, delivering durability with a consistent finish. The platform uses a DA/SA, hammer-fired system with an external ring hammer and a combined manual safety/decocker. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release.
The 5.3-inch extended stainless barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded .578x28 RH with a thread protector installed, supporting a wide range of .45 ACP configurations. Suppressor-height 3-dot night sights provide a clear sight picture over the threaded muzzle and are built for low-light visibility.
A factory optics-mounting interface is machined into the slide and comes with a cover plate installed. Two FN mounting plates are included for adding a compatible red-dot sight. The slide also incorporates an external extractor and a loaded chamber indicator.
Capacity is 15+1 rounds, with three factory 15-round magazines included. The frame integrates a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. Interchangeable backstraps are provided to fine-tune grip size and texture to the shooter.
