What’s Included
- 1x 8-round single-stack steel 1911 .45 ACP magazine with extended bumper pad
The slide carries factory legends reading "MODEL 1911-A1 CAL .45" on the left and "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" with crossed-cannons on the right. The barrel hood is marked "S.A. .45 AUTO," aligning with the .45 ACP chambering and single-stack 8+1 configuration.
Target-focused sighting is provided by a low-mount adjustable rear in a BoMar/LPA-style cut and a front blade with a single dot. The slide also features rear vertical serrations for confident manipulation.
Key 1911 enhancements include an upswept beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a long three-hole lightened trigger. Together with the lowered and flared ejection port, these features reflect a configuration aimed at smooth operation and controllability.
The frame is marked Geneseo, IL and carries an NM-prefix serial number. Safety features include a manual thumb safety, grip safety, and half-cock notch, consistent with single-action 1911 operation.
Grip panels are currently not installed; thin filler plates are fitted to the grip frame. This setup leaves the pistol ready for the buyer to install their preferred 1911 grip panels.
