The USC pairs HK’s proven engineering with a .45 ACP chambering and a simple blowback, closed-bolt operating system. The 16-inch barrel uses polygonal rifling with a 1:16 right-hand twist and a plain crown, delivering a clean, low-maintenance bore and dependable performance with standard .45 ACP loads.
Controls are classic HK: a left-side charging handle and a manual safety/selector marked with HK pictograms for intuitive operation. Adjustable mechanical sights provide a clear, durable sighting system well-suited to the platform.
The receiver and fore-end are polymer and finished in black, keeping weight low while maintaining rigidity. The fixed, skeletonized polymer stock includes integral sling attachment points and a 14.0-inch length of pull for a stable shoulder mount.
This example carries German proof marks with “HK Sidearms GmbH – Made in Germany” rollmarks and importer marks from Heckler & Koch Inc., Columbus GA. The BA German date code confirms 2010 production, adding clear provenance to the rifle.
The design is a civilian derivative of the HK UMP submachine gun family, with the receiver and fore-end pre-drilled and bossed for optional accessory rails. Capacity is 10+1 rounds, and this rifle includes two factory 10-round polymer-body magazines.
