Built in Serbia and imported by Zastava Arms USA, this ZPAPM70 carries clear importer and origin stamps and follows the robust Yugo pattern. The stamped receiver is paired with a bulged RPK-style front trunnion, a configuration valued for durability in the AK lineage. Overall length is approximately 36.5 in with a 13.0 in length of pull, giving it a full-size profile that balances well.
The 16.3 in barrel is chrome-lined and cold-hammer-forged, with a threaded muzzle, detent, and thread protector. The rifle uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt, and is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity.
Furniture is classic Serbian red wood: a fixed stock with steel buttplate and rear sling swivel, a wood pistol grip, and three-slot wooden handguards. Sling points are located on the gas block (front) and at the toe of the stock, and the original cleaning rod is in place.
Sighting equipment includes an open-ear front post that is drift and elevation adjustable, paired with a tangent rear sight leaf with meter graduations. A factory Yugo-pattern receiver side-mount optics rail is installed for mounting compatible side-rail optics.
