The Guardian uses an all-stainless 17-4 construction with a stainless slide and frame, giving it a solid, corrosion-resistant build. Its micro dimensions measure 4.36 in long, 3.23 in high, and 0.85 in wide, with an empty weight of 13.5 oz. The 2.19 in barrel keeps the profile compact without sacrificing the fixed-barrel design.
Operation is DAO with a straight-blowback, fixed-barrel system and second-strike capability. The design omits external manual safeties. These attributes provide a consistent trigger press and mechanical simplicity tailored to the platform.
Controls and features include a heel-type magazine catch at the butt, rear slide serrations, and low-profile fixed sights. The front sight is a small blade, and the rear is a square notch integral to the slide for a snag-resistant sighting arrangement.
Capacity is 6+1 in .32 ACP. Two factory steel magazines are included, and they are marked as .32 and Made in Italy. A finger-rest baseplate is provided for improved purchase if desired.
This example is part of the Guardian series that debuted in 1997 as the small-frame .32 ACP model, made in the USA. The combination of its micro size, stainless construction, and fixed-barrel DAO system defines the platform.
