The DS9 Hybrid uses a bushingless, flush-crowned bull barrel for consistent lock-up and durability. The barrel hood is marked 9x19, and overall barrel length is 4.6 inches.
The slide features front and rear diagonal serrations and lightening cuts ahead of the ejection port. An Accuracy X Multi-Sight modular plate system sits at the rear, with an RMR optics plate included. Iron sights consist of a fiber-optic front (red/orange) and a black adjustable rear mounted on the modular plate.
The steel frame carries a full-length, railed dustcover with an integral Picatinny accessory rail. A large funnel-style magwell supports fast, repeatable reloads.
The wide-body, metal double-stack grip with hex/honeycomb texture offers a secure hold. Controls include ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety. The flat-face, skeletonized trigger with lightening windows supports a single-action only operating system.
This full-size DS9 series pistol runs on 2011-pattern double-stack magazines and is configured for 20+1 capacity with the included MBX magazines. It is a current-production configuration made in the USA.
