Browning Baby Browning .25 ACP Belgian Micro Pocket Pistol, Blued, 2 inch Barrel, 5+1 (1968)
This Belgian-made Baby Browning is a compact .25 ACP pocket pistol from 1968, identified by Belgian Liège proof marks and the boxed 'g' date code. With its all-steel, blued construction, micro size, and 2 inch barrel, it represents the classic form of the model. Notably, U.S. importation of Belgian-made examples ended with the GCA '68, placing this pistol at the end of that import era.

Belgian manufacture and proofing set this example apart, with Liège proofs and a boxed 'g' date code confirming 1968 production. That year also coincides with the end of U.S. importation of Belgian-made Baby Brownings under the GCA '68, adding clear historical context for collectors of classic pocket pistols.
The pistol is built on an all-steel, carbon-steel frame and slide with a blued finish and a compact 2 inch barrel. The slide carries rear grasping serrations and anti-glare top serrations, and is marked 'CAL. 6m/m 35.' An external right-side extractor is present, consistent with later production features.
Operation is simple blowback with a single-action, striker-fired system. It includes a manual safety and a heel-type magazine release. There is no grip safety. Sighting is via fixed, integral sights: a front blade and a square-notch rear.
Ergonomics and controls fit the micro format, with black checkered synthetic grip panels featuring the 'BROWNING' oval legend. Capacity is 5+1 with the included 5-round magazine, and the pistol retains the classic Baby Browning pocket profile in a durable, blued, all-steel package.
