The G42 is Glock's micro-size, slim, single-stack .380 ACP model, introduced as the smallest Glock in the lineup at launch. This example retains the factory 3.25-inch steel barrel and 6+1 capacity in a compact, carry-friendly format. The slide uses rear-only serrations, and the frame has aftermarket hand-stippled grip texturing with bordered panels on the sides, frontstrap, and backstrap.
It is a U.S.-made pistol with "GLOCK 42 USA .380 Auto." on the slide. The frame is marked "MADE IN USA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." The barrel hood carries a "US" marking and a geometric proof symbol. Matching serial numbers are present on the frame, barrel, and slide.
The cold-hammer-forged barrel has a nitrided finish and hexagonal (polygonal) rifling with a listed 1:9.84 RH twist. The slide wears a black nitride finish. The action is striker-fired and uses Glock's Safe Action system with a factory-spec trigger pull (varies).
