Manufactured as part of the Parker Reproduction by Winchester project, this shotgun was produced by Olin-Kodensha in Japan in the 1980s; this example dates to 1986. It is correctly marked "PARKER" on the receiver top and "Parker Reproduction by WINCHESTER – EAST ALTON, I.L. U.S.A., MADE IN JAPAN."
The gun is configured in 20 gauge with 26-inch barrels and 2 3/4-inch chambers. It wears a solid matted game rib with a brass front bead and incorporates a Parker-style doll’s head rib extension for proper rib and breech alignment. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The action is a side-by-side break-action boxlock with a single-selective trigger and automatic ejectors (timed). Mechanical notes include a top lever that shows ample locking lug life and a tight barrel fit, indicating proper lockup.
Stocked in walnut, it features a straight English grip, beavertail forend with a Deeley latch, and a skeleton steel buttplate. Wrap-around point-pattern checkering and hand-cut wrist checkering provide secure purchase. Length of pull is 14.0 inches, and the grip is neutral.
