This Colt Custom Shop Series 70 Government Model is a limited-edition O1911SE-A1 in .45 ACP with a black DLC-type finish, SE-prefix serialization, and factory-applied Colt Custom engraving. It features a National Match tune with premium tool steel components, a flush-cut and reverse-crowned barrel, and documented factory test target. One of two sequentially serialized guns, it is accompanied by official Colt paperwork detailing the work performed.

The O1911SE-A1 Limited Edition rollmark and SE-prefix serialization mark this pistol as a factory special run from the Colt Custom Shop. The slide carries rear-only vertical serrations, ball end mill nose cuts, and a lowered and flared ejection port, all finished in a durable black DLC-type treatment with Colt Custom script on the frame. Made in the USA, it retains the classic full-size 5-inch Government Model profile in steel.
Colt's in-house upgrades include a comprehensive National Match tune with tool steel internals, a flush-cut and reverse-crowned National Match barrel, National Match bushing, polished feed ramp and breech face, tuned extractor and ejection port work, a dehorn treatment, countersunk slide-stop pin hole, and a beveled magazine well. Official Colt paperwork documenting the performed work is provided.
The sighting setup is clean and purposeful: a dovetailed front with a gold/brass bead paired to a dovetailed, plain serrated square-notch rear. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety, with a commander-style rowel hammer. The front strap and flat mainspring housing are checkered for consistent purchase, and the pistol ships with double-diamond checkered wood grip panels plus an extra set of textured G10 grips.
This single-stack .45 ACP Government Model has 8+1 capacity and uses a short-recoil, locked-breech, single-action system. A factory test/accuracy target documenting a 5-shot group at 15 yards is included. An additional EGW National Match bushing is provided alongside the original bushing, guide rod, and recoil spring for the buyer's preferred setup.
