The Vector SDP uses KRISS's closed-bolt, delayed-blowback Super V system to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. Controls are well laid out for efficient handling, with an ambidextrous thumb safety, a left-side folding charging handle, a left-side bolt catch, and right-side ejection.
The 5.5 in steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and includes a thread protector. This compact barrel length keeps the pistol maneuverable while providing the option to attach compatible 9mm muzzle devices.
A full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail runs the receiver, and a short accessory rail at 6 o'clock supports lights or other rail-mounted gear. The pistol ships optics-ready with no sights installed.
Glock-pattern magazine compatibility provides broad magazine support, and this pistol includes two 31-round Glock factory magazines. The listed capacity is 31+1.
