This Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Sport is a lightweight, AR-15–style .22 LR with user-friendly controls and practical features. It includes a 16.5 in threaded carbon steel barrel with an A2-style flash hider, a slim polymer M-LOK handguard with a continuous top rail, and a 6-position adjustable stock. It comes fitted with a BSA Sweet 22 AO variable-power scope and includes four factory 25-round magazines.

The M&P15-22 Sport uses a blowback-operated action and AR-style controls, including a functional bolt catch with last-round bolt hold-open. The two-position, receiver-mounted safety mirrors familiar AR ergonomics.
The 16.5 in carbon steel barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-style flash hider. A 1:15 twist rate is optimized for typical .22 LR loads, and factory weight is approximately 5.0 lb for easy handling.
The rifle features a polymer receiver in a matte black finish and a slim polymer M-LOK handguard. A flat-top Picatinny rail on the receiver continues over the handguard, offering uninterrupted mounting space.
Fit can be tailored with the 6-position adjustable, collapsible stock, delivering a 10 in to 13.5 in length of pull. An A2-style polymer pistol grip provides a familiar hold. Capacity is 25+1 using the included proprietary M&P15-22 magazines.
