Chambered for 3-inch shells, this 870 Express is built on a 3-inch magnum receiver, confirmed by the "M" serial suffix. Capacity is currently configured at 2+1. The action is pump-operated with a cross-bolt safety.
The hardwood stock and matching forend feature pressed checkering and a straight comb for a classic Remington feel. A solid rubber recoil pad is fitted, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
Receiver and barrel markings include the "Remington 870 EXPRESS" rollmark, the barrel address "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., ILION, N.Y., U.S.A.," and an oval REP proof.
