The P-01 is a compact CZ 75 variant built on a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame with a durable black polycoat finish. It uses the classic CZ slide-in-frame design and a low bore axis, and it includes an integral dustcover rail with a single cross-slot for mounting a light.
This pistol has been upgraded with fixed night sights: a Heinie rear paired with Trijicon tritium lamps marked "H3 10 17." The sight picture is clean and purpose-built for low-light use while remaining snag-resistant for carry.
Markings include Czech CIP proof marks with a "16" year code and a CZ-USA, Kansas City KS import mark. The frame is engraved with NSN 1005-16-000-8619. The slide, frame, and barrel carry matching serial numbers, and the pistol retains the factory lanyard loop at the grip heel.
Controls and ergonomics follow the proven CZ pattern: DA/SA operation with a decocker, a curved smooth-face trigger, and a spurred (rowel) hammer. Black checkered rubber grips with a palm swell provide a secure, hand-filling hold.
