The P320 platform’s modular design centers on a serialized stainless steel fire control unit, allowing the grip module and slide assembly to be swapped while keeping the same, serialized core. This example uses the compact pattern with a 3.9-inch barrel and a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
The controls are intuitive and duty-focused, including ambidextrous slide catch levers and a curved trigger. This configuration has no external/manual thumb safety, matching the submodel designation.
The slide provides front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are dovetailed iron units, pairing a white dot front with a square-notch rear for a clear, consistent sight picture.
The grip module is glass-reinforced polymer and molded with SIG SAUER logos, while the serialized receiver chassis is stainless steel. An integral Picatinny-style rail on the dustcover supports common weapon-mounted lights. Country of origin is the USA, and the factory part number is 320C-9-B.
