This Thompson/Center Encore single-shot pistol is chambered in .22-250 Rem and configured with a 15 in round-profile steel barrel and blued steel frame. It features walnut target-style furniture and a pinned ramped front sight. A one-piece Weaver-style scope base is installed; a pair of unbranded Redfield/Leupold “Standard” (STD) pattern rings is included separately. Note: STD-pattern rings do not clamp to Weaver/Picatinny cross-slot bases. Built on the modular Encore platform, it accepts user-swappable barrels across multiple applications.

The Encore action is a single-shot break-action with an exposed, single-action hammer. This straightforward mechanism is known for reliability and easy barrel changes within the Encore system. The pistol is made in the USA with a blued steel frame and receiver.
The 15 in steel barrel has a round profile and is unthreaded, chambered in .22-250 Rem. Capacity is one round. The rifling is excellent with sharp lands and grooves, and the bore is clean with a mirror finish.
Walnut target-style furniture includes a finger-groove pistol grip with a T/C medallion grip cap and a matching walnut slim sporter forend (narrow, straight-sided, two-screw), giving the pistol a solid and traditional feel.
Sighting is set up with a pinned, ramped square-post front blade and no rear sight. A one-piece Weaver-style scope base is installed, and a pair of unbranded STD-pattern rings is included but is not compatible with the installed Weaver base.
